In the Life of Dei....

I’m just thinking about the day, this day, in the day of being Dei, not being persuaded nor changed by this world or least not trying to be swayed when my flesh tries to have its way…

I make plans as life moves on and I try and stay in the shade instead of being burned by the suns rays…

They say the sun makes a way for day, I guess I can relate because the son came and the son was slain therefore it changed Dei; I…

Because I’m not the same as I use to be…

And no I’m not perfect but I’m striving for perfection…

And yes I still deal with daily addictions and habits because bad habits are hard to break, so please don’t judge…

Please don’t fix your eyes on the ugly part of me… trust me, there is more good than bad inside of me…

And life is not who I decide to be but who G-d called me to be…

So I’m trying to let go of the old me…

I’m trying to let G-d move me and mold me…

And some might not understand my path; but truth be told I’m not sure I understand it yet..

But that’s not stopping me…

"WHAT IF YOU DON'T"

What if you don’t feel normal?

What if you know what reality is but your mind sees something totally different?

It’s like you know both worlds but you can’t stay in reality?

The unreal takes over and you feel crazy

And you don’t understand what you are not getting

Trying to figure out the thing that is missing?

Your mind keeps twisting the right thoughts into the wrong ones

It feels like your hope is all gone

Not understanding where it went

So you spend your time rehearsing memorized lines

Just lies

Just so you get through a day in your

So confused not understanding which world to choose…

Looking back at thoughts when you lost so you still lose…

You feel bruised with mistakes

Making you wanting to drown in your sorrows and swim in a sea of resentment

But you choose to be empty, asking G-d to fill you up with His Love…

He is the only balance and consistency you have…

So what do you do when you don’t know what’s real?

Lean into the Lord for understanding…

He is the real… and remains…

What happens when your dreams turn to memories?!”

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR DREAMS TURN INTO MEMORIES??

I think this happens to people often. There are so many things that some have on their to do list in life, but what happens when we don’t tend to those things that we really want to do? The things that we have desired to do for so long.  Why is it that we won’t dare to take a step to do what we dream of?  It seems like we think some of our dreams are unattainable but how will we know if we never try and reach them.  We have to be like ANTS; when an ant wants something, an ant gets it. NO matter how big the thing they want is; they go through obstacles to get it, no matter if it rationalizes life or death. ANTS are known to carry or pick things up that are twice the sizes of them. We look at our dreams sometimes as if they are too heavy to bear or too far fetched. Any and everything good is possible if YOU believe.  

But

Something does happen to us when our dreams become memories. It seems like something dies on the inside of us. It’s like our eyes don’t sparkle like they use to. Or our heart becomes a bit colder because that self fulfillment isn’t met.  It is important for our ideas to and hearts whispers to be heard.  Dreams shouldn’t become memories to us but memories that people have gained from seeing our greatness achieved.  If you believe in G-d then He is all the help you need to make your dreams reality.

DREAMS ARE WHAT YOU MAKE THEM…..

DON’T LET YOUR DREAMS DIE ON THE INSIDE OF YOU; GIVE YOUR DREAMS LIFE…

Truths are better than lies... Expressing how one feels is the key to breaking away from mental bondage... But we have to be strong enough to accept consequences of the things we do and say.... But verbal freedom is a drug, an addiction started from way back when our ancestors were slaves getting slashes on their backs and their cries were harmonized, they invented singing... words were like breathing, songs were tears streaming down their faces. do understand being able to speak and be heard is an honor... So I will be heard and I will tell truths with my words because truths are better than lies... some words are miracles in disguise we should speak life... we should be wise... Open our eyes and realize our life has purpose... Verbal freedom is a drug... So keep speaking...

"In Like" and Other Stuff....

What does it mean to be “in Like”??

That a really good question because I think some people get being “in Lust”, being “in Love” and being “in Like” confused… Never are these things the same, no matter how hard we try to connect them, they can’t be connected. 

Being in like is merely just a small feeling that we get when something or someone catches our eye.  When we find someone appealing or attractive that can be a state of like. The reason for me saying that is because you like the way they look or you like the way something looks. 

Especially when we digg someone we like them. We like their personality, their mind, their voice, their swagg… That is what being in like is, being in like with someone means that we possibly could see a relationship with them.  Though some people LUST OVER the other person meaning having a sexual desire for the other, which is totally different than liking someone even though you may digg their mind and personality but you have skipped to the level of lusting for them.   

And it’s crazy because some people confused the art of love with sex (lust). Now love might lead to sex but that is not what love is… love is an emotion and an act but sex is not equal to that… Neither is being in like…

But being in LIKE is the FIRST step to LOVE ….

Your first love... or the separation from your one and only....

This is a really good topic...

Let me first start off with the definition of love... Love- a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. That is thee dictionary definition of love and I find it a good one compared to the other options they had to choose from... Their are so many ways to describe love from a personal stand point.  I don't think anybody can actually tell you what love means to you.  Its strictly a unique feeling to one's self. Thast's why it seems like the first love is the deepest...

My first love, happened so long ago... Its almost weird because it seemed like I was too young to know what love was.  But I think love can hit at anytime... I was in kinder garden. I know that seems so far fetched, but far fetched can be the truth sometimes... but seriously... You have to understand that companionship is love too as well.. a friendship is categorized as love also... but we know love the day we are conceived if you think about it.... So love is possible to happen at anytime.  and when you get a hold of that true and first love its a feeling that is unbelievable, a feeling that you wouldn't ever want to leave..  One that you would want to stay forever....

But

what happens when it leaves??? How are you suppose to feel??? To me it feels like your heart has sunk in your chest... Its like the drastic change from being comfortable to uncomfortable.. you try and find that position again but you never quite find it... sad; melancholy.  Not understanding why such a good thing leaves when you had it...

All I can say is that people are in your lives for seasons.  Some are meant to stay for a long time, others leave and leave something with you.. A lesson, a moment, a love.... See the point to life is to learn something everyday... People leave in and out so you can learn what it is to be learned or remember the things there are needed to be remembered... if everything were to stay the same there would be no change...

Sometimes Separation Is Needed, and Sometimes Love Needs To BE LOST..... SO IT CAN BE FOUND AGAIN....

Woke Up Feeling Super Good Yo!!!!!!!!!

So I woke up feeling super good today. So I'm going to write a poem about it.....

Feeling Good

I woke up feeling good today
Woke up with a smile on my face
A smile that was placed by G-d Himself, so it can not be replaced
And no I'm not ashamed because He is where my joy cometh from
Yes it cometh from the Lord
So my body feels good and my mind feels right
See I don't wake feeling good too often
So I'm grateful for this day
It was a change in pace
But I seem to adapt well to change; well sometimes....
But now my mind is right so I write....
I am blessed to see today and to see this day....
AMEN

So, I just wrote that as my hands are typing now...lol sorry if it's not one of my better pieces of work but it was on my heart...

The Things We Take For Granted

I just got done watching the movie Temple Grandin.. That movie touched me in so many ways.  Dr. Temple Grandin is autistic; but brilliant. She invented a lot of things that help with the cattle systems and slaughter houses all across the united states. well.. What I took from the movie was that we have to appreciate the little things that we are capable of doing. To be able to see, to be able to speak freely, to be able to love, to be able to give hugs and receive hugs. To be able to smile yo... Be grateful... Life is short, so live it to the fullest and be that thankful that you live...

What Do You Want Out Of Life????

What is it that you really want out of life.. Take a second and think about it...  This life is not a game, yet we play with it like we can get it back if we lose it.  When its gone its gone.. So what will be your purpose.. what will be your goal.. Do you have faith in something?? OR would you rather be hopeless?? See I can only talk from what I know.. Choices are everything.. One bad choice could be the one that you regret forever... Take a hold of your life and stop letting this world use you.. Let Jesus and G-d use you yo.. smh Test G-d and see yo... What is your purpose, do you know?? Figure it out.. listen for the call on your life...
